Summary
The Royal Derby Hospital is based in Derby City which is one of the UKs most centrally positioned cities situated on the River Derwent and with excellent connections to London and elsewhere. Derby is a thriving, cohesive, multicultural city where people quickly settle into local communities. Access to the delightful Peak District is extremely easy. It should be noted that this post does not carry with it a National Training Number of right as the focus of the Fellowship has moved towards post CCT super-specialist Training. However the post holders have, in the past, always been given retrospective approval by the SAC if the need arose due to their stage of training.
