The Service: Making "Great Things" Happen
Every now and then, we all need a break. Located in the Boyn Hill area of Maidenhead, Allenby Respite provides vital "Short Breaks" that support the health and wellness of both our customers and their dedicated carers.

With capacity for just four people at a time, Allenby offers a calm, friendly, and close-knit environment. This small setting allows us to focus entirely on a person-centred approach, giving our customers a sense of ownership and control over their stay. We believe that by involving and empowering the people we support, great things can and do happen.

Your Role & Impact
Working at Allenby Respite offers incredible variety. You will work with individuals with varying levels of needs and disabilities, often providing tailored 1:1 support. Your shift might include:
• Person-Centred Support: Helping customers enjoy their stay through activities and social engagement.
• Individualised Care: Assisting with personal care, medication, and physical wellbeing based on specific 1:1 requirements.
• Empowerment: Supporting life skills and helping customers maintain their independence.
• Collaboration: Working closely with families and carers to ensure a seamless transition between home and respite.

Flexibility to Suit You
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join us across various shifts. We have Full-Time and Part-Time roles available, covering a mix of Days and Nights. We are happy to discuss specific rotas at the interview stage to find a schedule that works for you.
