Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day delivery of housing functions, working alongside a team of professional and technical staff, inspecting dwellings and protecting vulnerable tenants and residents whilst tackling some non-compliant landlords. Successful candidates will also be ensuring that migrants and asylum-seekers have access and use of safe and suitable accommodation. As part of the wider Community Protection Team, you will be working with Officers who have responsibility for other elements of the new enforcement approach. You may therefore be able to help to provide resilience and inter-operability across several regulatory activities.
It is critical that the successful applicant will be able to show an aptitude for this type of work. Close working with statutory, voluntary, and community sector partners is seen as a must for this role.
