Prestonfield House, one of Scotland’s most exclusive luxury hotels and holder of the AA’s supreme accolade of Five Red Stars, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join its dedicated team.
Built in 1687 by the King’s architect Sir William Bruce as the private residence of Edinburgh’s Lord Provost, Prestonfield today is celebrated for its opulent interiors and historic grandeur. With 18 individually designed bedrooms, 5 luxurious suites, 3 historic private dining rooms, the celebrated Rhubarb restaurant, and the circular Georgian Stables Ballroom, Prestonfield is renowned for its heritage, elegance, and award-winning hospitality.
Our package includes:
• Hourly rate of £12.50 per hour (renumeration package circa £32,000pa)
• Full time 40 hours per week permanent contract
• Free staff meals and free on-site parking
• 28 days holiday rising to 32 after 5 years’ service pro rata
• Paid training and shift breaks
• Workplace pension scheme
