About You

We are seeking responsible and proactive Cover Supervisors who can manage classrooms effectively and provide support to students across a range of subjects. You will play a key role in maintaining learning continuity, ensuring that students stay on task, and supporting their development while teachers are absent.

The ideal candidate will be confident, approachable, and able to follow lesson plans while adapting to the needs of the class. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Experience or training in Trauma-Informed Practice would be a valuable advantage, helping you respond effectively to students who have experienced challenging circumstances.

The Right Candidate Will:

• Be confident in managing students and maintaining a positive learning environment

  
  

• Have experience working with children or young people in an educational setting

  
  

• Be able to follow lesson plans and support learning across a range of subjects

  
  

• Be organised, reliable, and able to adapt to the varying needs of students and teachers

  
  

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  
  

• Ideally have completed or be willing to complete training in Trauma-Informed Practice

  Cover Supervisors are essential to the smooth running of the school, providing consistent support and supervision when teachers are absent. You will ensure that lessons continue as planned, monitor student behaviour, and support learning in line with the school’s policies and expectations.
