Summary
Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) – £29,800 + Welcome Bonus

The Room Leader plays an important role in shaping the day for their age group, balancing hands-on practice with responsibility for planning, staff guidance, and consistent EYFS delivery. Children are cared for in thoughtfully designed spaces using natural resources that support curiosity, independence, and development.
Before You Apply
- This role requires recent experience working as a Room Leader or senior practitioner within an EYFS setting.
- Applicants must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- This position is not suitable for newly qualified practitioners or those without room-level responsibility experience.

- Salary: £29,800 per annum + welcome bonus

What You’ll Need
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Recent experience as a Room Leader or senior practitioner
- Strong working knowledge of the EYFS
- Confidence leading practice within a busy nursery room
- Ability to maintain consistent standards across care and education
- Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced practitioners
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Support and guide practitioners working within your room
- Monitor observations, assessments, and record keeping
- Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance
- Work closely with parents and carers to support each child’s development
