Summary
The one year programme in cutaneous sugrery will provide training and experience in all aspects of modern cutaneous surgery with an emphasis on the management of skin cancer. The post is available for a fixed term of 12 months from 31st August 2026. On completion of this programme it is anticipated that the trainee will have the skills appropriate to a dermatologist with a special interest in cutaneous surgery, including Moh's micrographic surgery and surgical reconstruction for skin cancer. The post complies with the British Society for Dermatological Surgery curriculum and the requirements of the British Association of Dermatology Post-CCT Fellowship in advanced Dermatology Surgery and Moh's micrographic surgery. These are the current applicable pay scales; however, these may change upon implementation of the framework agreement for reform to the terms and conditions of service for resident doctors and dentists in Wales.
