Summary
We’re recruiting for a proactive, organised Despatch Operative to join our fast‑paced manufacturing client based near Baildon/ Shipley.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a warehouse/dispatch role within a manufacturing /engineering environment.

This is a full time permanent role, available for an immediate start.
Hours – Mon – Friday 40 hours
Flexible start between 5:30–8:30am | Flexible finish between 4:30–7:30pm
What you’ll be doing
Raising purchase orders for suppliers and treatments
Using our ERP system daily (POs, delivery manifests, tracking, stock levels)
Packing and shipping parts safely and correctly, including arranging courier collections
Working closely with our van driver to ensure all parts are ready for next‑day treatments
Maintaining packaging stock levels and preventing shortages
Booking returned parts into stock with full and accurate paperwork
Supporting monthly stock checks
Liaising with production and planning to ensure on‑time, in‑full customer deliveries
Keeping your workspace clean and free from FOD
Flagging any health & safety concerns promptly
What we’re looking for
A positive, reliable team player with a great attitude
Someone organised, tidy, and comfortable in a busy environment
Experience using an ERP system (ideal but not essential)
Strong work ethic and willingness to support a small, close‑knit team
Forklift licence preferred but not required
