Summary

What will your day look like?

As our Paralegal Apprentice, you’ll play an important role in supporting our Legal Services team to deliver high quality, professional support across a wide range of casework and legal processes. quality, professional support across a wide range of casework and legal processes.


You’ll be involved in tasks such as:

File creation, collating legal documents and compiling case files.

Supporting solicitors and legal officers with research tasks and information gathering.

Preparing routine agendas, taking minutes and keeping and updating action notes.

Providing accurate information and updates to clients and colleagues while always maintaining confidentiality.

Using specialist legal and court-based systems under supervision.

Supporting wider legal projects and administrative duties that help the team run smoothly.

You’ll follow a personalised development plan and complete the Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience to complement your learning. It is a superb first step into a career in law.

Who are we looking for?


Someone who is:


Passionate about developing a career in the legal service.

An excellent communicator with clear written and verbal skills.

Able to organise, plan and prioritise their work effectively.

Confident using IT systems such as Outlook, Word and Excel.

Adaptable to change, willing to learn and open to new ways of working.

Strong attention to detail and able to maintain accurate records.

Friendly, reliable, and professional, with ability to build positive working relationships.


Experience in an office or administrative environment is desirable but not essential — what matters most is your commitment, willingness to learn an enthusiasm for the role.


To be eligible, you will need:


Literacy and numeracy at Level 2.

Commitment to completing the Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship qualification.
