Summary
About the Role
We are looking for a talented and driven Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry department and elevate our dessert and baked offerings. This is a hands-on leadership role for a creative professional who is passionate about quality, innovation, and consistency.
You’ll be responsible for developing exceptional pastries and desserts while managing a small team, maintaining high standards, and contributing to the overall culinary vision of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead and manage all aspects of the pastry section
-Design and develop dessert, pastry, and baked goods menus
-Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste
-Train, mentor, and supervise pastry staff
-Manage ordering, stock control, and food cost targets
-Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
-Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen leadership team
-Stay current with pastry trends, techniques, and seasonal ingredients
About You
-Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef
-Strong leadership and team management skills
-Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail
-Solid knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Strong organizational and time-management skills
-Passion for high-quality ingredients and presentation
