Summary
To develop post qualification skills in the management of own time and development of evidence based assessment and intervention strategies for children and young people with speech/language delay and /or disorder presentation in the community To independently manage own community clinic caseloads for children/young people with speech, language/communication delay/disorder To support the differential diagnosis of speech, language and/or communication presentations with the support of more senior colleagues To work as part of team including other SLTs, SLT assistants and colleagues from public health (e.g. Health Visitors), education (e.g. school and preschool staff) To produce high quality written reports and care plans for open cases to reflect duty of care to share with parents/carers and other professionals based on the most relevant evidence base To evaluate progress towards agreed outcomes with parents/carers, education and/or preschool setting staff
