Summary

General Science Teacher – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for General Science Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Dawlish and the surrounding areas.Duties as General Science Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different year groups and abilities
• Follow school planning or create short-term lesson plans where needed
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Mark work and provide feedback when required
• Liaise with school staff to ensure smooth handovers

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confident teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management and adaptability
• Reliable, flexible, and professional
• Able to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff as a General Science Teacher
• Experience in secondary settings preferred but not essential
