Summary
Must have a driving licence.
Must be willing to support me with looking after the home environment – helping with cleaning and laundry tasks.
Support me with budgeting and managing finances.
Support me to access the community and develop confidence to use public transport.
Support me to seek out and access social groups of my interests to increase my social circles and confidence to mix with new people.
Support me to access and develop confidence to engage in educational /employment opportunities. This will include accompanying me to college on a Wednesday evening.
Roles and Responsibilities
Supporting me to manage my home environment, i.e. keeping the home tidy, managing laundry requirements, meal planning, etc.
Support me to seek out new social, educational, and employment opportunities.
Supporting me to manage financial matters / budgeting.
Developing my independence and confidence skills with activities of daily living and accessing the community.
Support me to develop my confidence to access public transport and help me devise routes for me to access the community.
Offering practical support, reassurance, and advice to help promote good emotional wellbeing.
Specific Requirements
A well-grounded, mature female worker who has an experience of working with individuals with Autism and ADHD.
Requires someone who is able to support and advice to help me develop my confidence and independence.
Someone who likes dogs and has similar interests to myself.
Required Training
Full driving licence.
Experience of working with Autism and ADHD
How will the hours be used
Wednesday – 17.30 - 21.30 to support with attending college.
Friday – 8.30 – 12.30 to support with managing the home and accessing the community. Some flexibility may needed
