About you…
We are seeking an experienced, values‑driven practitioner to lead our young carers and targeted youth work who is passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young people. This role offers a dynamic blend of operational leadership, partnership working and strategic delivery, ensuring high‑quality and inclusive support that improves outcomes for young people across Bracknell Forest.

About the team…
You will join a supportive, reflective and ambitious team that values relationships, learning and doing things well. We work collaboratively across Early Help and partner services, balancing creativity with strong practice and accountability. There is space to think, test ideas and influence practice, alongside managers who encourage professional development and trust you to lead with confidence.

Key responsibilities…
Leading and line managing youth and young carers professionals, ensuring high-quality supervision, practice and outcomes.
Planning, coordinating and quality assuring targeted youth and young carers groups across the borough.
Acting as the service’s subject expert on young carers and targeted group work, providing guidance, training and reports.
Working with partners and commissioning to monitor contracts and support strategic delivery.
Securing funding and developing volunteers to strengthen and grow the service.
You will receive regular supervision, access to training and support from the Team Manager and wider leadership team.

Interview date
Interviews will be held on 6th March 2026.
