The role is to support a mature Politics student at the University of Brighton who lives on a small boat in Newhaven and enjoys music of all kinds as well as spending time in nature. This is a supportive, motivational role focused on encouraging engagement with everyday life and university study, including acting as a professional body double to help with focus, structure and follow-through.

Support will include encouragement with studying, motivating and supporting everyday life tasks, assistance with shopping and light cleaning, and gentle reminders and encouragement around personal care routines. No hands-on personal care is involved.

The ideal person will be patient, reliable, encouraging, and able to motivate in a calm and respectful way. You should be comfortable working in a non-traditional living environment and have an open-minded approach. An interest in music, nature or learning would be a bonus but is not essential.

This role would suit someone who enjoys helping others build confidence, momentum and structure in a supportive, non-clinical way
