Reception Team Member

By being the first point of contact for our guests, managing enquiries, and ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, seamless experience that sets the tone for their stay.

Salary: £8.35 (age 16-17) to £12.21 (age 18+)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 30 hours per week worked over 5 days.

Our Reception Team is the friendly face of the park, giving holidaymakers and owners a warm welcome from the moment they arrive. As the first point of contact, you’ll make sure every guest has the information they need for a fantastic stay, while handling queries and resolving any issues with professionalism and care. Working closely with our accommodation, maintenance, and operations teams, you’ll help deliver the high standards that make the Verdant experience so special.

Some examples of the day-to-day duties include:

· Greeting guests and owners, supporting with check-ins, queries, and general park information

· Handling cash and card payments, including till operation and daily cashing up

· Preparing welcome packs for incoming guests

· Promoting park facilities and sharing knowledge of local attractions

· Answering phone calls and emails in a friendly, helpful manner

· Supporting reception admin tasks as required

· Helping promote park activities, offers, and events

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in getting the little things right. You will be calm, confident, and approachable, making every guest feel welcome and supported. Ideally, you will have experience in a customer-facing role such as hospitality, retail, or tourism, strong customer service skills, and a positive, can-do attitude. Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal systems, is important, along with strong communication and administration skills. You will be a team player, flexible, and adaptable to meet customer and business needs. Previous experience in a reception, tourism, or leisure environment is a bonus, but not essential.
