Summary
New Addington - Early Years Practitioner - Immediate Start
Vibrant and supportive nursery in New Addington currently seeking an Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about early childhood development to join the friendly team of staff!
Prior experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and a relevant qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Early Years Practitioner.
Strong knowledge of EYFS and children's learning and development is important for the successful Early Years Practitioner, as you are playing a key role in preparing young children for their future, and supporting their growth and development during their most formative years.
As an Early Years Practitioner, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration based on the EYFS curriculum that promote children's learning and development
• Creating an environment that is stimulating, supportive and safe, and that enables children to grow and learn at their own pace
• Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
• Assisting with the development of early maths skills, following the Early Years Framework
• Establishing positive relationships with children and their families
• Carrying out observations and tracking key children's progress
