Job title: Personal assistant (PA)
Reporting to: Samantha Wilson
Location: Morley, Leeds
Job purpose:
· To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable/assist the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
46 year old woman living alone with a chronic pain condition, anxiety and depression.
Main duties:
· Attend medical appointments· Personal care, including support with bathing, showering, shaving, teeth cleaning, dressing, administering medication, eating· Domestic duties including support with grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, changing linen, laundry
Type of person they are looking for:
· Honest, patient, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable· Easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel· Female applicants only due to person care requirements
Hours of Work: 2 hours daily in the afternoons Monday to Friday, 1.5 hours Saturday and Sunday. Flexible to change if required
Rate of pay: Mon-Fri £12.60 & Sat-Sun £15.69.
Skills: Driving Licence, car preferable not essential, nursing qualification preferable not essential, good listener, patient and calm
