This is a fantastic opportunity to lead two schools as Executive Headteacher within our values led Trust. Both schools have been well led and have worked together as part of the ‘Hope Federation’ for a number of years. This post is available upon the retirement of the current Headteacher.
We are looking for somebody who can live, celebrate and harness our Christian values, to continue to build on the federation’s current success, and who has a demonstrable track record of improving schools within a Senior Leadership role. Within our Trust the majority of Headteachers are in executive roles, meaning that we understand and can effectively support these leaders. Together we have a track record of success in this area, and you will be well supported by a central team that lives and breathes small schools.
Both schools were graded as ‘good’ at last inspection and this reflects both the leadership of the current Headteacher as well as the commitment of the wider staff team. A strength of this federation, as with others in the Trust, is that it understands and celebrates the differences between the two schools, whilst maximising opportunities for staff and children to work together. As a Trust, we will offer you first rate school improvement support from an experienced Trust and Regional lead and you will have access to our ambitious PD programme for all staff, to support the future development of Hope’s offer for the children and communities that you will serve.
We are proud to be a church of England federation and Trust and in line with the education we offer to children in our schools we are welcoming of those of all faiths and none.
The Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its children and expects all staff to share this commitment. All appointments will be subject to full safeguarding checks as well as satisfactory references. The Trust's safeguarding policy can be found on our website.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please contact the school office at Brisley on 01362 668350 / office@brisley.dneat.org.
For any questions regarding the role, please email the central Trust office - info@dneat.org/contact.
