Hours: Full-time 37.5 hrs, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Pay: £12.75 per hour / Band 3
Contract: Temporary ongoing

Role Summary

We are seeking an organised and motivated Personal/Team Secretary to provide high‑quality secretarial and administrative support to the CMHT Team Leader and wider team. The role involves diary management, preparing documentation, minute-taking, handling enquiries, maintaining records and supporting the smooth operation of the office.

Key Duties

  • Manage diaries, appointments and meetings.
  • Provide administrative support including typing, filing, photocopying and email management.
  • Produce letters, reports and documents to a high standard.
  • Take minutes and prepare meeting documentation.
  • Handle calls, enquiries and incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Maintain filing systems, records and spreadsheets.
  • Liaise with internal staff and external agencies.
  • Support complaints processes and assist with data collection.
  • Provide cover for administrative staff when required.

Essential Criteria

  • 4 GCSEs (A*-C) including English or equivalent
    AND
  • 1-2 years' clerical experience using Microsoft Office (depending on qualifications)
  • Minute‑taking experience (for roles requiring it)
  • RSA/OCR Stage II Typing/Word Processing or 1 year's ICT experience
  • Experience in diary management, organising meetings, and Excel data presentation

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Records Management
  • Understanding of confidentiality, data protection and patient rights
