Summary
FLT Counterbalance Driver – DerbyWe are currently seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established recycling operation based in Derby. This is a full-time, ongoing role offering consistent weekday hours.Working Hours:Monday to Friday8:00am – 4:00pmPay Rate:£13.00 – £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities:Operating a counterbalance forklift truck in a busy recycling environmentLoading, unloading, and moving recyclable materials around siteEnsuring materials are stored safely and correctlyCarrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defectsWorking closely with site operatives and supervisorsMaintaining high standards of health & safety at all timesAssisting with general yard and site duties when requiredCandidate Requirements:A valid external Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB / ITSSAR or equivalent – essential)Previous experience working within a recycling or waste management facilityConfident operating an FLT in a fast-paced industrial environmentStrong awareness of on-site health & safety proceduresGood timekeeping, reliability, and a strong work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat’s on Offer:Stable, full-time weekday workCompetitive hourly rateSupportive working environmentOpportunity for long-term work for the right candidateApply now with your CV to be considered for this role.
