Summary

Your new company

You'll be joining an organisation delivering one of the largest education capital investment programmes in Wales. With a growing pipeline of new school developments, major estate improvements and multiple developer‑led education projects, this is a fast‑paced and impactful environment delivering multi‑million‑pound schemes across the region.

Your new role
As a Capital Works Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the end‑to‑end delivery of a portfolio of large and complex capital school projects. You will ensure that schemes are planned, designed, procured and delivered effectively, achieving high‑quality outcomes and value for money.

You will work collaboratively with internal service areas including Education, Procurement, Planning and Transport, ensuring a coordinated approach to delivering the wider education capital programme. You'll also provide professional guidance on all matters relating to the development of education accommodation.

In this role, you will lead and manage multi‑disciplinary internal and external teams - including project managers, surveyors, architects and engineers - ensuring all parties deliver an efficient and effective service. You will also act as the client representative under CDM 2015 regulations for assigned projects.

What you'll need to succeed

You will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of partners and stakeholders. What you'll get in return

  • Competitive salary up to £66k DOE
  • Opportunity to lead a flagship programme of capital works
  • Exposure to major, high‑value development schemes
  • Collaborative and supportive working environment
  • Flexible working options available
