An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at The Roundhill Academy as a SEN Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis for 28.75 hours per week. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting young people, working closely under the guidance of the SENDCO and the wider SEND team. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Roundhill Department and contribute to our highly successful provision. The role involves delivering small group interventions, as well as planning, delivering, and monitoring targeted activities designed to support students with a range of SEND needs. You will also provide literacy and numeracy support and play an active part in the whole school implementation of the Thrive approach, for which full training will be provided. We are seeking a calm, approachable, and student focused individual. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is essential.The ideal candidate will: • GCSE’s (or equivalent) in Math’s and English Grade C/4 or above • Relevant experience working with young people • Basic understanding of SEND requirements • Be an organised individual • Be calm and approachable • Be punctual • Have a flexible attitude • Have excellent communication skills
