Summary
To be able to work throughout the Unit caring for high dependency and special care babies depending on qualification and experience. To be able to work unsupervised in the Transitional Care Unit/SCU To take charge of an allocated group of babies or a nursery underthe supervision of the nurse in charge. To work effectively and efficiently with the integratedmultidisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluateprogrammes of care. To contribute towards developing and maintaining a suitable andstimulating learning environment for students and for the ongoingdevelopment of registered and unregistered staff. Following appropriate training contribute to an allocated area ofresponsibility which may include breastfeeding, infection controldesignated link nurse or any other area identified by Matron orTeam Leader. This is a post that follows a shift pattern that rotates onto night ,dayand weekend shifts
