What you'll be doing:
Reporting into the Commercial Financial Controller this is a varied role, preparing monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets for Recovered Paper business and Retail Card Contract. This will include:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts with comprehensive variance analysis for business units within your remit
- Collaborate with business partners to develop comprehensive Forecasts and Budgets supported by robust analysis
- Regular site visits and engage with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business development initiatives
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, analyse the asset registers, and prepare business cases as required
- Support the annual audit process, ensuring smooth delivery and compliance
- Ensure full compliance with company finance policies and procedures across the business unites with in your remit
What we're looking for:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
- Experience with Workday & Power BI is highly desirable
- Analytical mindset with an inquisitive approach and excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage and collaborate across all levels of the business
- Full Driving Licence
