Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We're looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive and welcoming schools across the Northampton area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your skills within a supportive school environment.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD and speech & language difficulties.
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment.
- Support pupils with communication, sensory and emotional development.
- Assist with classroom organisation and inclusive learning activities.
- A patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN, autism or learning difficulties is highly desirable.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage but not essential.
