Part-time Cleaner
The Self Centre
4 hours per week
(1 hour per day, we are open to flexible discussion around hours that work for the right candidate in line with business needs)
Salary: £12.21 per hour
We are looking for a diligent, caring, part-time cleaner to join the team at our wellbeing centre in Bury St. Edmunds. You will be responsible for all aspects of housekeeping, working closely with the reception staff to ensure that we always have the highest levels of cleanliness and offer an excellent customer experience.

It is the little things that make a difference – as well as ensuring everywhere is clean and fresh, we need cushions plumped, books tidied, and equipment stowed away so the building always feels warm and welcoming. With 3 studios, 10 therapy rooms and a café, there is a lot to keep on top of. You will need a good eye for detail and be prepared to do the extra little touches that make our customers feel at home. As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out all cleaning duties throughout the centre using the appropriate cleaning resources. Knowledge of COSHH regulations would be helpful however, full training will be provided. This post may involve some hours of lone working and applicants therefore need to be aged 18 or over for insurance purposes.

In return, we are able to offer a pension scheme and staff benefits, including free classes and a gym membership with Abbeycroft Leisure.

Closing Date: 19th February 2026. Early applications are encouraged as we may close the vacancy early if a suitable candidate is found.
