About the Role
Riseley Green School is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting pupils with autism (ASC) and complex needs. You’ll help create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive and achieve their potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils’ learning through tailored classroom activities and one-to-one engagement.
Prepare learning materials and assist in lesson delivery.
Promote wellbeing, independence, and confidence.
Assist with outdoor learning experiences and off-site activities.
Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality support.
Your ability to build trust, provide stability, and encourage curiosity will make a real difference to the pupils in your care.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Adaptable – able to support pupils in a range of classroom and outdoor settings.
Empathetic and patient – responsive to individual needs with care and understanding.
A team player – enthusiastic about working collaboratively and sharing knowledge.
Committed to safeguarding – prioritising the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.
Experience working with children or young people with autism or complex needs is desirable but not essential. Above all, we value a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help pupils thrive.
