Summary
Recruitment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in East London (E3 – Bow area).
We are seeking an experienced Room Leader to lead the Baby Room (Under 2s). This is a full-time, all-year-round role suited to a confident early years professional with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience with under 2s.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the baby room on a day-to-day basis
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
• Supervise, support, and motivate staff within the room
• Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and development
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements:
• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with under 2s
• Previous room leadership or senior practitioner experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
Hours & Salary:
• Full time, 5 days per week
• All year round
• Shifts on a rota between 7:45am – 6:55pm
• Salary from £28,000+, depending on experience
