We're looking for a compliance assistant to join our social care commissioning team on a full time, permanent basis.


What will your day look like?


This is a fast-paced role which requires the use of initiative and planning to support the work of the children’s commissioning team and the work they do to find the right homes and education places for vulnerable children and helping to keep these children safe and secure. The role will require you to deliver an effective and efficient service including:


Creating and administration of systems to monitor compliance
Issuing contracts on behalf of the local authority and monitoring returns
Issuing and tracking agreements issued by the local authority to external providers
Working in partnership with finance colleagues to ensure value for money in relation to placements
Noting and escalating quality assurance concerns

Who are we looking for?


You will have experience of being part of a team that works in a high pressure environment. You will have effective communication and ICT skills and the ability to build good working relationships across the team and wider to ensure we are operating effectively and meeting all compliance requirements.


You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage your own workload ensuring tight deadlines can be met.
