Summary
Below are the key tasks of the role, however please refer to the attached Job Description for full details: Develop own knowledge and experience in medical education To contribute to the development of our Undergraduate Teaching Programme for Medical Students To teach and support medical students to meet the learning objectives of their clinical placements at HDFT Working as part of a team to deliver inpatient medical care. To maintain a high professional standard and actively participate in matters concerning patient safety and Clinical Governance Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of patients. To share with colleagues responsibility for the day-to-day management of patients under the care of the Medicine Team Teaching and training of junior staff and medical students. To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit. To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD). Working autonomously alongside a consultant on daily ward rounds for inpatients.
