Our team based at HMP Lincoln is looking for a Nurse Associate to join them in providing care and support for individuals accessing support for substance misuse. Find out more about us here. Job Opportunity This position is offered on a part time and permanent basis. You will work 18 hours per week, comprising 2 shifts, which will vary between 7.00am-4.00pm and 7.00am-9.00pm. Saturday working will be required to meet the needs of the service and shifts will be 7.00am-4.00pm or 8.00am-5.00pm. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to clinical care, harm reduction and recovery-focused support for people with complex needs, promoting person-centred, trauma-informed care at all times. Key responsibilities of this role will include: Supporting the delivery of safe, effective clinical interventions Carrying out health assessments, observations and basic clinical procedures Supporting harm reduction initiatives, including BBV screening and health promotion Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards Working collaboratively a multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, recovery workers and external health professionals Contributing to safeguarding, risk management and service quality improvement Essential Skills We'd be excited to see the following in your application: Evidence of a Nurse Associate qualification and NMC registration Evidence of working collaboratively with other members of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as the ability to work independently Evidence of medication administration and knowledge around CD administration Contribution to ongoing assessment of care, recognising when to refer to senior colleagues Clinical skills, including ECG monitoring, venepuncture and vital sign recording DE&I As an organisation, we continue to build an inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates the diverse voices and experiences of our staff.
