Summary

We are looking for a level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to provide high-quality education and care for children aged 0-5, implementing the EYFS framework through play-based activities.

Key duties include acting as a Key Person for a group of children, planning learning, conducting observations/assessments, maintaining safety, and building strong relationships with parents.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
-Key Person Role: Build positive relationships with a assigned group of children, tracking their development, and acting as the main point of contact for parents.
-EYFS Planning & Implementation: Plan, lead, and evaluate stimulating, play-based activities tailored to individual child needs, covering all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
-Observation & Assessment: Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress, keeping accurate, up-to-date developmental records.
-Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment, ensuring all health, safety, and child protection procedures (including safeguarding) are strictly followed.
-Partnership with Parents: Engage with families to support their child's learning and development at home, providing regular updates on progress.
-Inclusive Practice: Support children with diverse needs, including SEND and EAL, ensuring equal opportunities for all.
-Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating, enabling environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, Early Years Educator).

Experience working in a setting is preferred however a good clear knowledge of the EYFS and ability to interact with children is essential.

Nursery opening times are Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm and shift patters vary based on a weekly Rota.

Wage to be discussed upon successful offer of position and may vary depending on qualification and experience.
