Job Title: Design & Food Tech Teacher

Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum, dependent on experience (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver practical, engaging, and inspiring lessons that bring Design & Food Technology to life
Develop creative resources and activities tailored to pupils’ individual needs
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to enhance learning
Participate in ongoing professional development and share ideas within the team
Promote Baston House as a hub of creativity, professionalism, and care
Who We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching autistic or SEN pupils (highly desirable)
Creative, adaptable, and passionate about inspiring young people
Collaborative, supportive, and committed to fostering an inclusive school environment
