Summary

Business Intelligence Architect (Agency Contract)

Location: Suffolk
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days on site, 3 days remote
Contract Type: Agency / Project-Based
Hours: 37 hours per week (Full-time)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Start Date: 23 February 2026
End Date: 31 March 2026
Duration: Project-based contract until the end of March 2026
Rate: £500 per day
DBS Requirement: Not required

Job Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Business Intelligence Architect to support a project-based engagement within a local authority setting. The role sits within services supporting Children and Young People and focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing business intelligence and reporting solutions.

This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to attend the office two days per week and work remotely for the remaining time.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement business intelligence architecture to support data-driven decision-making
• Develop and maintain data models, reporting frameworks, and dashboards
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are met
• Support integration of data from multiple systems and sources
• Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance on BI solutions
• Produce clear documentation and support knowledge transfer
Essential Requirements
• Strong experience in a Business Intelligence Architect or senior BI role
• Proven background in designing and delivering BI and data solutions
• Experience working with large, complex datasets
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage project-based deliverables
• Experience in public sector or local authority environments (desirable)
