Vale Homes has a fantastic opportunity for a Sheltered Scheme Coordinator in Barry.

Working as part of the housing team, you will be based at the sheltered scheme and be responsible for providing services to support independent living and oversee the delivery of services including the building and communal areas.

About the role
Pay Details: Grade 5 - SCP 8 - 12, £26,824 - £28,598 (Pro Rata), £13.90 - £14.82 (Hourly Rate)
Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, 52 Weeks Per Annum
Main Place of Work: Gwenog Court

Description: You will provide a Sheltered Housing Service to residents including caretaking and supervision of communal areas, provide day-to-day “good neighbourly” assistance to residents and promote independent living.

About you
You will need:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience of building checks and repairs reporting.
Current enhanced DBS check.
