Crynodeb

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Thermal Insulation Apprenticeship to join our next TICA-approved apprenticeship scheme, working primarily across the Camden and East London area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

About the Apprenticeship
TICA Approved Apprenticeship Programme (4 Years)

This is a 4-year TICA-approved apprenticeship in Thermal Insulation, combining structured training with hands-on site experience. Apprentices will be employed from day one and will complete a mix of on-the-job learning and off-the-job training (including block release at the TICA National Training Centre).

During the programme, apprentices will work towards a recognised industry qualification and develop the practical skills needed to become a competent Thermal Insulation Engineer.

The first part of the apprenticeship includes formal training and assessment, followed by continued employment and development in the workplace. The final (4th) year is primarily work-experience based, allowing the apprentice to consolidate their skills on-site and build industry competence.

On successful completion of the full programme, apprentices will be eligible to apply for Skilled Worker status and the CSCS Gold Card (subject to meeting all TICA and CSCS requirements).

Government Approval
This apprenticeship is part of the UK government-recognised apprenticeship framework and is government-funded and nationally recognised, meaning you will gain a real qualification and career progression opportunities in the thermal insulation sector.

The successful candidate will receive fully funded college training (attending college twice per year) alongside on-site, hands-on training with experienced insulation engineers. You will learn how to install and maintain thermal insulation systems safely and to industry standards across a range of commercial and industrial environments.

The role includes a travel allowance, annual pay increases in line with TICA progression, full PPE and tools provided, and ongoing support throughout the apprenticeship. You will develop practical skills, an understanding of health and safety requirements, and the knowledge needed to achieve recognised industry qualifications.

This role suits someone who is practical, eager to learn, reliable, and comfortable working on construction sites as part of a team.
