At Dimensions, your growth is our shared journey - with the flexibility to fit work around your life. From your first shift, you'll be supported to build confidence, learn new skills, and develop in ways that matter
to you. Through Dimensions Academy and our award-winning Aspire programme, you'll get one-to-one coaching, practical training, and clear pathways to progress. Because when you grow, the people you support do too - and together we create brighter, fuller lives

*Rather than accruing annual leave this is paid on top of your hourly rate as you work, so you get an additional 12.07% for every hour you work. Your rate of pay is £13.37 per hour + 12.07% = £14.98per hour.

About the person we support:

We support one excitable gentleman in his early twenties who has a great enthusiasm for life and a wide range of interests. He enjoys gaming, bowling, cinema trips, theatre, art, game shows and visiting local museums. He is confident accessing these via public transport or on foot and values maintaining his independence.

Respect for his personal space is very important to him and he responds best to calm, consistent and a positive approach.

He has a learning disability and autism and we support him to live independently in his own home. An upbeat, smiley support worker who is encouraging, patient and able to build positive relationships would be an excellent match.

At times, he may display behaviours of distress, including minor property damage or throwing personal belongings. Support workers should be able to recognise early signs of distress and respond in a calm, reassuring and proactive manner to help him regulate and feel safe.

What will I be doing?

Day to day you will be supporting him to live his life how he chooses and to achieve his goals.
Support will include prompting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

What shifts are available?

Long Day Sleeps - 9:30am - 9:30am the following day
Sleep-in Shifts - Paid at £50 per shift
We're looking for people with flexibility to work on a rota basis that includes weekdays and weekends
