Summary
We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our agency team, providing vital support within a young adults’ supported living service based in Weston-super-Mare.
Shifts Available
Long Day: 08:00 – 16:00
Late: 13:30 – 21:00
Flexibility to work across these shift patterns is preferred to meet the changing needs of our clients. As this is agency work, availability for last-minute shifts is highly desirable.
The Role
You will be supporting young adults aged 18–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and require medium to high-level support. The service promotes independence and life-skills development within a supportive, structured environment.

About the Service
1. Eight en-suite bedrooms within a shared house
2. One self-contained flat
3. Short-term supported accommodation (up to two years)
4. Communal lounge, kitchen, and laundry facilities
5. On-site staff during office hours with an overnight concierge
6. Focus on developing independent living skills
Key Responsibilities
1. Support residents with daily living activities and personal care as required
2. Promote independence and encourage life-skills development
3. Carry out regular safety and wellbeing checks
4. Provide emotional and practical support in line with individual support plans
5. Accurately complete daily records and documentation
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
7. Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment

Requirements
1. Minimum of 6 months’ UK care or support work experience (essential)
2. Competent in the use of manual handling equipment (essential)
3. Strong written and verbal English communication skills (essential)
4. Ability to work effectively under pressure

6. Right to work in the UK (essential)
