Summary

We’re looking for a chef already based in France to run the kitchen at our relaxed restaurant on a holiday park in beautiful southwest France.

This is casual food done properly. Expect plenty of BBQ cooked outdoors on barbecues and offset smokers, alongside Sunday lunches, charcuterie boards, and simple French favourites during the busy summer period. No fine-dining pressure, just good honest food.

The Details

    • Seasonal contract: 20 February – 20 October (8 months)
      • €30,000 per year (pro rata)
        • Accommodation provided for the duration of the contract
          • Located in sunny wine country, southwest France
            • EU passport/right to work in France essential

            The Role

            The restaurant sits within a holiday park environment, so flexibility helps. During quieter periods you may pitch in with general site operations. Summer is lively and fast-paced, while spring and autumn are more laid-back.

            We’re looking for someone:

              • Practical and organised
                • Comfortable working independently
                  • Confident with BBQ cooking
                    • Easy-going and happy in a casual holiday setting

                    Attitude, reliability, and common sense matter more than flashy CVs.
