Summary
A leading care provider is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager for a brand-new solo children’s home in Huddersfield. This service is dedicated to supporting young people with learning disabilities and complex needs through a trauma-informed, values-led approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Ofsted registration process for a new solo service.
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing staff team.
Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Manage budgets, rotas, and professional relationships with local authorities.
Person Specification:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Substantial experience in a management capacity within children's residential settings.
In-depth knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks and safeguarding.
