We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Technical Surveyor to join our Property Services Investment Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in delivering high‑quality investment projects that make a real difference to our customers, their homes, and our communities.

About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced, highly motivated and positive thinking Technical Surveyor, to assist the Planned Investment Contracts Manager in:
- Delivering customer focussed investment and cyclical projects
- Working alongside Karbons external partnering contractors
- Pre works inspections and surveys
- Site monitoring in terms of post inspection of works
- Recording of monthly KPI’s
- Ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are followed on site
- Reporting of high quality, cost effective projects
Within the role you would be involved in the Planned Investment works projects to our large portfolio of properties which includes:
- External Works - Re-roofing, Solar PV and Structural works
- Internal refurbishment – Kitchens, Bathrooms and Re-wires
- Heating Upgrades
- Environmental works to Karbon’s communal areas
- Decarbonisation and energy efficiency works.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a strong track record in delivering customer‑focused investment and improvement projects
- Can interpret technical information confidently and use it to drive decisions
- Builds great relationships with colleagues, customers, contractors and partners
- Brings a positive, proactive attitude and is always looking for ways to improve our service
- Has excellent communication skills and thrives as part of a busy, supportive team
- Understands the importance of compliance, safety and high‑quality delivery
You’ll also need a full UK driving licence as location of the role will vary from year to year, as will the nature of the works and property type, with Karbon having a vast portfolio of stock, across a large geographically area. As such travel will be an essential part of the role.
You should also hold a relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience.
