Summary

SEND Teaching Assistant – Daily supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings in Redbridge and the surrounding areas.Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs across primary and secondary settings
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Assist with personal care and mobility where required
• Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND in a school or care setting
• Confident working across a range of age groups and adapting to different needs
• Patient, empathetic and adaptable to changing situations
• Able to follow safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
• Willing to commit to daily supply work across multiple schools as a SEND Teaching Assistant
• Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent are desirable
