Summary

Secondary Supply Teacher – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for Secondary Supply Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working across a range of schools in Teignmouth and surrounding areas, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff.Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school policies
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Provide feedback to school staff on pupil progress and classroom activity
• Support pupils with their learning and encourage active participation
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Secondary Supply Teacher
• Ability to adapt to different subjects and key stages
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable, flexible, and confident in managing diverse classroom settings
