Summary

At Verdant Parks, we believe the key to a great holiday is getting the fundamentals right — and our Accommodation Managers are central to making that happen. Clean, comfortable, and well-presented accommodation doesn’t happen by chance; they are the result of strong leadership, clear standards. By ensuring our holiday homes and facilities are cleaned thoroughly and prepared to a consistent standard, you’ll play a vital role behind the scenes in supporting our teams and delivering a seamless, welcoming experience for our guests.
If you’re ready to join a refreshed, modern, and fast-paced environment where your effort truly makes a difference, this could be the perfect next step for you.

This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who takes pride in standards, thrives on organisation, and leads by example.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering consistently high housekeeping standards across caravans, lodges and facilities
• Being present on the ground, completing checks and supporting the team during busy changeover days
• Making sure every unit is clean, safe, fully stocked and ready for arrival
• Managing rotas, work allocation and daily job sheets efficiently
• Ensuring linen, bedding, equipment and stock are well maintained and well organised
• Working closely with Maintenance to report repairs and safety issues promptly
• Managing lost property, inventories and housekeeping equipment
• Controlling cleaning costs and working within agreed budgets

As Accommodation Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the cleanliness, presentation and readiness of our holiday homes and on-park facilities. You’ll manage, motivate and support the accommodation team while rolling up your sleeves when needed to ensure standards never slip.

You will train, coach and develop the accommodation team, ensuring everyone understands what good looks like. You will make sure all new starters receive a thorough and structured induction so they can succeed from day one. You will manage rotas, holidays, timekeeping and absence to ensure the department is always appropriately staffed. You will carry out appraisals, probation reviews and regular performance conversations, addressing issues promptly and constructively. You will also ensure that standards of personal appearance, hygiene and professionalism are consistently maintained across the team.

High-quality housekeeping plays a vital role in overall guest satisfaction. You will deal with guest queries or issues in a professional and timely manner, ensuring concerns are resolved efficiently. You will ensure that service is friendly, consistent and reliable, and you will take pride in creating an environment where guests feel comfortable, relaxed and able to enjoy their stay.
