We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and resourceful individual to join an award-winning housing association in South Wales. We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to lead and develop the Group’s financial planning and reporting processes, while supporting the development and maintenance of our business plan and day-to-day treasury management.

The Cadarn Housing Group is the parent company with Cadwyn Housing Association, Newydd Housing Association, Living Quarters (Lettings and Sales) Wales Ltd, and Igneous as subsidiaries.

Cadarn Housing Group is the parent of the Group and provides oversight and support services role. Newydd Housing Association is a charitable housing association, that offers over 3,000 affordable homes for rent and sale to people where need is at its greatest in Mid and South Wales, working in several local authority areas. Cadwyn Housing Association owns and manages 2,000 homes for affordable rent and low-cost home ownership as well as a range of community regeneration initiatives.

About the role
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is accountable for leading the Group’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes, delivering insightful financial support and fostering a culture of business partnering across the Group. The role supports the development and maintenance of the Group’s 30-year business plan and oversees day-to-day treasury management, strengthening the Group’s financial stability and resilience.

By building strong relationships and collaborating closely with stakeholders, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager empowers budget holders and leaders with timely, relevant, and actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive effective resource allocation. The role continuously improves processes and helps position finance as a proactive, valued partner in achieving the Group’s objectives.

About you
The post holder will need strong project management skills and effective analytical skills for producing and understanding financial and statistical information. Experience of managing staff is essential whilst experience of finance within the Housing sector is desirable.

You will be managing a busy and demanding workload so you will need to be able to prioritise tasks and have an organised and methodical approach. You must also be an effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
