We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to own and drive the commercial and financial performance of the client contract.​

This role ensures strong governance, accurate reporting and effective risk management while maximising value for both the client and ISS.

​You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making, supporting performance improvement and enabling contract optimisation and long-term partnership success.

Job Description

We are looking for a confident leader who can set direction for the commercial finance team, embed robust financial controls and provide visible leadership across the contract.​

You will model professionalism, collaboration and integrity, establishing standards, driving accountability and shaping a proactive, high-performing finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a professional, proactive relationship with all levels of the client’s representatives.

Build strong partnerships with senior managers, providing financial insight to support commercial decision-making.

Deliver accurate and timely forecasting, including month-end reporting and management of the budget planning cycle.

Identify key risks and opportunities across accounts and ensure appropriate mitigation or maximisation actions.

Lead, motivate and develop the commercial finance team, driving improvements in financial performance.

Drive commercial control of project delivery processes, including supplier selection, project sign-off and variable works performance.

Oversee proactive billing management, cash collection and all balance sheet activity for the portfolio.

Ensure consistent application of financial processes and challenge ways of working to maintain strong financial control.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.

Proven leadership and team management capability.

Ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively.

Excellent financial governance and reporting skills.

Clear communication and strong integrity.

Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative approach.

UK Driving Licence required.
