The ideal candidates for this role will be knowledgeable, patient, motivated and be able to think outside the box. We like our Senior Support Workers to lead the team with confidence, drive and a desire for everyone to achieve, including themselves. We support individuals from all walks of life and their priority is to receive support from people who want to help them and enhance their quality of life. It is important to us that our team are well supported.

Please note: this is not an office based job. It is community although office hours will be allocated for office based duties to be carried out within your role.

We are looking for 2 Senior Support Workers to join our team!
This role will include:

-Supporting our Service Users in the community.
-Supporting our team to achieve their optimum performance and role satisfaction.
-Assisting us a team to maintain high standards of Quality Assurance for both service users and colleagues.
-Assisting with the training and competency of new Support Workers.
-Leading the team every other weekend which will include on call duties and problem solving should any arise. Management will be on hand at all times.
-Reviewing service user needs and referring where required.
This list is non-exhaustive as depending on the needs of the company and its staff.

Role requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years care experience. Leadership experience will be an advantage but is not compulsory.
-Must have excellent communication skills and good writing skills.
-Must be friendly and approachable.
-Must be motivated with a desire of role satisfaction.
-Must be flexible to meet the demands of the role
-Must be able to lead by example and be a team player.
-Must be able to give and accept constructive criticism. Every day is a school day!
-Must be able to work every other weekend and have the ability to be flexible to swap weekends when required to assist with holidays and sickness
-Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
Availability of set days needs to be from 7am-10pm as shifts vary between these times.
