Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Vocational and Functional Skills Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with young people aged 16-19, providing delivery in Sports, Personal Development and Functional Skills in English and Maths.
Duties
Deliver the Sports programme to students including personal development alongside Fundamental British Values and the wider curriculum.
Engagement and Delivery: Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English from Entry level though to Level 2, across vocational programmes.
Support students undergoing Functional Skills examinations.
Tailored Support: Customise sessions to address the unique needs of student groups.
Student Development: Implement student-centered programs emphasising softer outcomes to facilitate positive progression into adulthood.
Liaise with the wider team regarding safeguarding, attendance, progress and achievements.
