This role would suit an experienced mechanical engineer with experience assembling or servicing machinery. Candidate can come from any industrial background and will need experience with machining techniques such as the use of lathes and polishing equipment and will need experience working from CAD drawings.
The successful Mechanical Assembly Engineer will be responsible for assembling technical devices from engineering drawings. This will involve working with electrical panels, connecting power supplies and troubleshooting any technical challenges.
The Mechanical Assembly Engineer Role:
· Mechanical assembly of devices
· Working from details engineering drawings
· Alteration of components using machining techniques – use of lathes, polishing equipment etc.
· Troubleshooting any issues
· Working with senior engineers to provide design feedback
The Mechanical Assembly Engineer Candidate:
· Mechanically biased engineer
· Experience assembling or servicing devices / machinery
· Able to read and interpret technical CAD drawings
· Experience using lathes, polishing equipment
